Organizer for the Mill City Reading Series – A monthly reading series highlighting the work of graduate students in the University of Minnesota Creative Writing MFA program at local Minneapolis bookstore Magers & Quinn. In conjunction with fellow organizers, Clare coordinates events with Magers & Quinn staff, seeks out writers, promotes the reading series and helps host the events (September 2019 – May 2020)

Creative Nonfiction Editor of Great River Review – Minnesota’s longest running literary journal, Great River Review publishes fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry and translation. In 2002, Great River Review received the Minnesota State Book Award for its 25th anniversary issue; pieces published in the magazine have been selected to appear in Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses, Best American Travel Essays and Best American Sports Stories (January 2019-June 2019)

Editor of First Class Lit – An online experimental lit mag publishing micro-fiction, micro-memoirs, flash fiction and flash nonfiction, poetry, reviews and other forms that fit on a postcard (October 2014-June 2017)

Editorial Assistant at Vela – A nonfiction magazine dedicated to publishing, promoting and empowering women writers (September 2014-January 2015)

Editor of the Grinnell Review – Grinnell College’s premier bi-annual arts and literary magazine (January 2014-May 2014)

Editorial Intern at CATALYST Magazine – Salt Lake City’s alternative lifestyle magazine (November 2013-December 2013)
